The Queen of Popiano is finally ready to roll out the red carpet and step out for her first proper World Tour. Tyla will be coming to the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto on November 26th, 2026, as part of her A*Pop Tour, named after her second album, which was released on July 24th, 2026.

The factors

Here's everything pushing this presale up or down the FaceValue scale.

Toronto has been waiting for its first Tyla show ++

Sure, she'll be here in just a few days, but that will be for a 19+ daytime club event at the Cabana Pool Bar, far from being a proper tour stop. Her previously scheduled May 2024 Danforth Music Hall show never ended up happening, as she canceled the bulk of her tour due to injury.

That makes Coca-Cola Coliseum the first real opportunity for fans to have the full Tyla headline experience, now with two full-lengths of hype behind her.

A theoretical venue jump -

On paper, Tyla is moving from the ~1,500-capacity Danforth to just over 7,000 seats at Coca-Cola Coliseum, nearly a 5x increase. The distinction is that, well, she never actually played the Danforth. There's no previous box-office result showing how much her local demand has grown. I think that uncertainty shows in the venues she's playing.

She's in the 2025 Zara Larsson era of her career, where she hasn't quite had her pop breakthrough moment, so promoters can't tell whether to put her at the 2,500-capacity History or the ambitious 16,000-capacity Scotiabank Arena. So, we're left with the ugly duckling booking at Coca-Cola Coliseum instead.

Coca-Cola Coliseum shows sell badly --

Being the ugly duckling venue, shows at Coca-Cola tend to have a harder time pushing tickets. You don't have to look far back to see the proof.

Earlier in March, FKA twigs saw her prices drop upwards of $606.77 for her Toronto show at the same venue. 2026 breakout pop artist Madison Beer was looking like a surefire sellout, only for those prices to collapse days leading up to the show. Both shows I gave a Wait verdict to and ended up being right.

She needs to have a dominant summer, FAST --

Now, I'll admit my algorithm isn't exactly tuned to pick up much amapiano buzz (currently, I'm in my Loatheposting bag), but I feel like I haven't heard much of anything regarding the new Tyla album.

The streams aren't looking too hot, either. Mind you, she's performing another show in Toronto THIS WEEK, and this A*Pop show is less than four months away. If this album doesn't start popping off quickly, while we're in peak summer mode, I find it hard to believe the momentum will pick up in dreary November.

Some quick-fire factors:

  • Only two Canadian dates, with nothing nearby for Toronto +
  • Resale for Cabana is almost $300 +
  • Other venues on the tour are much smaller -

The verdict

I'm expecting Tyla at Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto to be a Wait. I expect the onsale period to look similar to that of Madison Beer: a hot presale that looks like an instant sellout, followed by several months of above-face resale, and then a price collapse in the days leading up to the show, bringing tickets below face value.
