Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the Terms) govern your use of FaceValue's websites, Concert Tracker, free membership, emails, Front Row membership and related community features (together, the Services).

FaceValue is a registered Ontario sole proprietorship based in Toronto, Ontario. In these Terms, FaceValue, we, us and our refer to FaceValue. You refers to the person using or purchasing the Services.

By using the Services, creating an account or purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase Front Row, or have a parent or legal guardian's permission and authorization to use their payment method.

Accounts and memberships are for individual use. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You may not share, transfer, resell or make your account available to anyone else.

2. What FaceValue provides

FaceValue provides independent concert-ticket information and editorial guidance. Free Services may include Toronto concert listings, ticket-price information, tracked shows, public Buy, Wait and Tossup verdicts, Deal Checks, alerts and Presale Breakdowns.

At launch, Front Row includes:

  • advice about the concert and exact tickets you are considering;
  • answers about Toronto venues, sections and the concert experience;
  • custom get-in and section price targets on shows covered by the Concert Tracker;
  • member access to Presale Breakdowns before their public release;
  • a members-only Discord space and the Ask FaceValue desk; and
  • opportunities to influence which tracked shows receive a deeper read or which member features are developed next.

Front Row is designed for decisions you can plan around, not as an instant purchasing hotline. FaceValue normally responds to Ask FaceValue questions within 24 hours, but response times can vary. Price targets are available only for shows supported by the Concert Tracker, and their usefulness depends on the coverage and freshness shown for each event.

A Discord account is required to use the Front Row member room and Ask FaceValue desk. Members who do not use Discord can still use available Concert Tracker targets and receive the related email alerts.

Front Row does not include ticket purchasing, ticket transfers, custody of tickets or money, guaranteed access to tickets, or private brokerage. FaceValue is not a ticket seller, resale marketplace, broker or agent for you or any ticketing platform.

3. Editorial judgment and no guaranteed outcome

Ticket markets change quickly and available data can be incomplete, delayed or wrong. FaceValue's verdicts, answers, targets and other guidance are informed editorial judgments, not guarantees.

FaceValue does not guarantee that you will save money, obtain a particular seat or ticket, receive an alert before a listing changes, or achieve any other purchasing outcome. You remain responsible for reviewing a listing and deciding whether, when and where to buy. Any ticket transaction is between you and the third-party seller you choose.

4. Front Row prices and payment

The founding Front Row price is:

  • Monthly: $7 CAD, billed each month; or
  • Annual: $60 CAD, billed each year.

Both plans are billed in advance and automatically renew at the same interval until cancelled. There is no free trial.

All prices are in Canadian dollars unless the checkout says otherwise. Any applicable taxes will be disclosed before you subscribe and shown in your checkout total. Ghost provides membership checkout and account management, and Stripe processes payment. FaceValue does not receive your full payment-card number.

You authorize the applicable recurring charge when you complete checkout. If a payment fails, Ghost or Stripe may retry it and access may be limited or ended.

5. Founding rate

Your founding rate remains locked while your Front Row membership stays continuously active. If you cancel, allow the membership to expire or lose access because payment cannot be collected, the founding rate is no longer guaranteed. If you join again later, the price then offered at checkout will apply.

6. When access begins

Ghost membership access and available Front Row features in the Concert Tracker begin after successful payment. A Front Row Discord invitation is normally provided within 24 hours.

Some features depend on third-party services, tracked-show coverage or a current email address. FaceValue cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to every feature.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel Front Row at any time through the Ghost member Portal. Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Unless FaceValue tells you otherwise, you will keep access through the end of the monthly or annual period you already paid for.

Cancelling Front Row does not automatically delete your free FaceValue account or your accounts with Ghost, Stripe or Discord. See the Privacy Policy for information about privacy and deletion requests.

8. Refunds

Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated below. FaceValue does not provide partial refunds for an initial purchase, a monthly payment or time left after you cancel.

As a courtesy, if your annual membership renews and you did not intend to continue, contact FaceValue within seven calendar days after the renewal charge. FaceValue will refund that annual renewal payment and end the renewed membership. This courtesy does not apply to an initial annual purchase or to monthly renewals.

FaceValue will correct confirmed duplicate or incorrect charges. If FaceValue permanently ends Front Row, future renewals will be cancelled and annual members will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of their current annual term.

Nothing in these Terms limits a refund, cancellation or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

9. Member spaces and questions

Front Row's member community is hosted on Discord and is also subject to Discord's own terms and policies. Content you post in a member room, including a question, screenshot or ticket listing, may be visible to other members of that room. FaceValue may answer or organize member questions inside the Front Row space so one answer can help more than one member.

Do not post payment-card numbers, passwords, government identifiers or information you do not have the right to share. FaceValue will not republish your question or screenshot outside the member room without your express permission.

You may not use a FaceValue member space to sell or broker tickets, collect money, harass others, impersonate someone, post unlawful or infringing material, send spam, scrape content or interfere with the Services. FaceValue may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect members, the Services or FaceValue.

10. Acceptable use

You may use the Services only for personal, lawful purposes. You may not:

  • copy, republish, sell or commercially exploit FaceValue content without permission;
  • share member-only content outside the membership;
  • circumvent access controls or attempt to gain unauthorized access;
  • use automated tools to scrape, overload or disrupt the Services;
  • submit false, deceptive or abusive information; or
  • use the Services in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law.

11. Intellectual property

The FaceValue and Front Row names, lockups, designs, writing, analysis, data presentation and other original materials are owned by FaceValue or used with permission. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and revocable right to use the Services. They do not transfer ownership of any FaceValue intellectual property.

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give FaceValue a limited licence to host, display, reproduce and use that content only as needed to operate the Services, answer your request, moderate the member space and comply with law.

The Services may rely on or link to Ghost, Stripe, Discord, Supabase, Vercel, Brevo, ticketing platforms, resale marketplaces and other third parties. Their services, prices, availability, terms and privacy practices are outside FaceValue's control. A link, price reference or discussion of a platform is not an endorsement or a guarantee of that platform.

13. Service availability and changes

FaceValue may maintain, improve, add, remove or change non-core features. When a change materially affects a paid membership, FaceValue will provide reasonable notice where practical.

FaceValue may pause new memberships, place reasonable limits on a feature, or temporarily interrupt access for maintenance, security, technical problems or circumstances outside its control. FaceValue may end Front Row as described in Section 8.

14. Suspension and termination

FaceValue may suspend or end your access if payment cannot be collected, you materially breach these Terms, or your conduct reasonably threatens another person, the community or the Services. Where practical, FaceValue will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to correct a remediable issue.

You remain responsible for charges incurred before suspension or termination. Any refund will be governed by Section 8 and applicable law.

15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Services are provided on an as available basis. To the extent permitted by law, FaceValue disclaims implied warranties that can lawfully be excluded, including warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the extent permitted by law, FaceValue will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost opportunities, or losses caused by a third-party ticket transaction, changing ticket price, unavailable listing, missed alert or reliance on editorial guidance.

To the extent permitted by law, FaceValue's total liability arising from the paid Services will not exceed the amount you paid to FaceValue for Front Row during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

16. Privacy

FaceValue handles personal information as described in the Privacy Policy. The policy explains what FaceValue and its service providers collect, how the information is used and the choices available to you.

17. Changes to these Terms

FaceValue may update these Terms as the Services or legal requirements change. The revised page will show a new Last updated date. FaceValue will provide reasonable advance notice of a material change that affects a paid membership, unless a faster change is needed for legal, security or abuse-prevention reasons.

Changes will apply from their stated effective date and will not retroactively change a completed billing period. If you do not agree to a material change, you may cancel before your next renewal.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any right you have to bring a claim elsewhere under applicable consumer law, disputes will be submitted to the courts located in Ontario.
