Phoebe Bridgers tour banner for The Lost Tour (2026)

A month ago today, flyers started showing up around Roswell, New Mexico, for a Phoebe Bridgers show happening the next day. 400 cap, no phones, and mostly songs no one has heard before. She followed that format for another 17 shows since then, and now she's announcing a 23-date arena tour under the exact same rules. No new album. No singles. No phones. Good luck.

The Lost Tour hits Scotiabank Arena on Thursday, October 1st, 2026, with Alex G opening. A substantial jump since her last Toronto headline at Echo Beach in 2022. Artist presale runs June 9th and 10th at 10AM, with general sale starting on June 12th. I've collected everything you need to know about Phoebe Bridgers in Toronto right here, including whether I think it's going to be a Buy or a Wait.

To help tickets get into the hands of fans - not scalpers and bots - and in an effort to mitigate queue wait times, a limited number of fans will be selected to receive a unique code that unlocks the ability to purchase up to 4 tickets when the Day 1 presale begins on June 9 at 10:00 AM local venue time.

In order to access the queue on Day 1, the email address on your Seated registration MUST match the email address on your Ticketmaster account. If they do not match, then you will NOT have access to the queue to purchase tickets. If you don’t have a Ticketmaster account, you must create one with this email address before the presale begins. Tickets are limited and receiving a code does not guarantee your ability to purchase tickets on Day 1 - they are available on a first come, first served basis. If you do not purchase 4 tickets on Day 1, your same code will also unlock tickets on Day 2.

Fans selected for Day 2 will receive a unique code that unlocks the ability to purchase up to 4 tickets when the presale begins on June 10 at 10AM local. Receiving a code does not guarantee tickets - they are available on a first come, first served basis.

Phoebe Bridgers has also opted to make her tour phoneless. Here's what you need to know about that:

I was able to get an early look at some of the ticket pricing for Toronto. Here's how it's shaping up:

  • 100s: $209.50/204.25/178.50/136.50
  • 300s: $119.50/$104

So far, prices are looking pretty fair for Phoebe!

💡How I rate shows

  • Various factors are considered, including community sentiment, time since the last show, pricing, proximity to nearby dates, and more
  • Each factor is given a positive or negative score. Positive scores swing in the direction of Buy, and negative scores swing towards Wait
  • Factors sum up to one score, which becomes the FaceValue Verdict: Buy or Wait

The factors

Here's everything pushing this presale up or down the FaceValue scale.

Phone-free has ruffled some feathers -

Her announcement to make the entire tour phoneless has sparked a lot of debate.

Her audience skews young, and so the announcement has triggered noticeable panic online about being phone-less for several hours. The format isn't entirely out of left field for her; she had just tested it across 18 small promo shows in May and a Madison Square Garden charity show.

I've seen some fans poke fun at the situation as a way to dissuade others from buying tickets.

But honestly, I think it genuinely will filter out a portion of the casual buyer pool who would have shown up for the vibe and the story. It's a fascinating scenario that feels distinctly 2026. No matter how the sale plays out, it'll be fun to see how the story around the decision develops.

The cryptic rollout isn't arena-friendly -

Her current era started exactly a month ago on May 7th when Phoebe was announced to play a show in Roswell, New Mexico, with one day's notice. The gig was promoted with flyers posted around the city, which fans had to confirm with the venue for its legitimacy. The posters said no recording devices would be allowed during the concert.

During the 400-capacity show, Phoebe played a set with an extended section of unreleased music. In the weeks since then, she has played another 17 shows, all phoneless, and all with setlists that looked similar to this:

Phoebe Bridgers setlist at Bloomingtom, IN on May 28, 2026

This kind of mysterious rollout works great when you're a big artist playing a string of tiny shows, but scaling that up to arena-level ambitions is where things get iffy. She has to convince around 15,000 fans in each city to buy in at arena-level prices for a tour that will be chock-full of songs they won't even know at the time of buying, and you're also telling them they can't use their phones.

It's a lot of stock to put into an unconventional marketing plan, but it could pay off for her. Her popularity has jumped significantly since her last solo tour, and this strategy could end up winning over more fans than it filters out.

The pricing is looking fan-friendly ++

While we don't have full pricing details yet, what we do have looks promising.

  • 100s: $209.50/204.25/178.50/136.50
  • 300s: $119.50/$104
  • GA: $?

These prices are around 20% cheaper than the average for Scotiabank Arena in 2026. With care being taken to split artist presale across two dates, her doing a full MSG charity show, and adding a two-week ticket transfer delay, I have a feeling she's going to also opt out of dynamic and Platinum pricing.

We'll have to wait and see how GA pricing plays out, but if it follows the pattern of being 20% below average, that would put it at around $220.

The Boygenius tour had similar ambitions --

This is the most recent and relevant comparison we have to Phoebe Bridgers as an arena-level act. The 2023 tour with Boygenius (her indie rock supergroup with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus) was targeting similarly sized venues with 15-20k capacity. Tickets across the majority of dates ended up plummeting in resale value, making almost all of them (including the Toronto stop at Bud Stage) a Wait.

Boygenius price history for their 2023 tour (ticketdata.com)

The difference now is that three years have passed, and Phoebe Bridgers is now more popular than Boygenius ever was. Regardless, it's a clear example that illustrates how dramatically a hype balloon can pop between on-sale and show day.

Some quick-fire factors:

  • Only other Canadian date is Vancouver +
  • Alex G is a solid boost +
  • Ticket buying fatigue heading into summer -
  • Noticeable amount of "how do I get tickets?" buzz +

Wow, this really feels like a tough one to call. For those keeping score at home, we're at a net zero between Buy and Wait signals, which would put this in the realm of Tossup. However, I don't want to leave you with an unsatisfying result, so in the spirit of how Phoebe Bridgers is rolling out this tour, I'll lean into the vibe and go with my gut here.

The verdict

I'm calling that Phoebe Bridgers in Toronto is going to be a Wait. While the pricing looks great, the marketing is doing more to split the crowd than draw fans in. I expect the buzz to crescendo into a hot presale, with things cooling down in the following weeks. You should start to see tickets fall below face value in the days or weeks leading up to the show.
