He was the biggest pull on the lineup, helping to carry the festival into a sellout. This is being marketed as his *biggest tour ever*, with cutting-edge production and exclusive new music. But it's still fairly limited, hitting only 16 markets across the entirety of North America. ### Big-name EDM does well at RBC Amp ++ Historically, it's been tough to find cheaper tickets for major DJs at the venue. Here's how comparable shows have fared over the last two years at (the previously named) Budweiser Stage. - 09/26/25 Slander: Prices dropped below face - 08/09/25 Above & Beyond: Dropped well below face - 07/29+30/25 RÜFÜS DU SOL: Stayed mostly around face - 07/11/25 Fisher: Stayed around face - 09/06/24 Dom Dolla: Stayed around face - 06/15+16/24 John Summit: Stayed around face The closest parallel to Martin Garrix's popularity here is John Summit, who sold out two dates at the venue at roughly the same time of year. You could easily make the case that Garrix is a bigger draw than all of these artists. Speaking of John Summit, I was able to find this information for how tickets were priced (tax and fees included). I wouldn't expect Garrix's prices to match these, but it's helpful to know how prices compare when the sale goes live. 💸 **Price Reference - John Summit* June 15th, 2024 ****Pit**: $240 ****200s**: $155 ****300s**: $110 ****400s**: $77.50 ****Lawn**: $54 ### Smart routing and scheduling + Every show on his tour takes place on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. May/June puts him in prime time for the summer break rush. He also made sure to leave room for a Saturday show to be added for Toronto. It's clear that his team was in their bag when mapping out this tour. --- My recommendation is **Big Buy**. We're looking at a potential **touring logistics masterclass** here with Martin Garrix. Returning at just the right time for Toronto, on the cusp of summer break, on a Friday night. The cards are stacked in his favour. This is how the sale period played out. First, a look at face value prices when tickets first went on sale in October. 🎟️ Face value prices (fees included): ****GA Floor**: $180 ****200s**: $122 ****300s**: $100 ****400s:** $84 ****Lawn**: $73 I was right to call a Saturday show being added, but I didn't anticipate a third one being added for Sunday! Garrix ended up selling out Friday and Saturday easily, with tickets remaining available for Sunday all the way until show day. Despite this, there were no discounts available for any of the three shows and the call ended up standing for all three dates. Buying early ended up being the best play for securing Martin Garrix tickets for the lowest price. I capture these prices myself, every few hours, from the announcement through to showtime.
