The group is already performing three times in Toronto that week, including a show on the exact same day as this one!

If you've yet to have your face melted off and covered up with paper maché, do yourself a favour and check out their recent KEXP performance, which has since become the fastest-growing video the channel has seen.

The virality of this performance has led to the announcement of a show at Mod Club (capacity of 600) on July 14th, with two more dates added. All three were instantly sold out, with tickets reselling at over 10 times the original price.
That's right. Angine de Poitrine will be performing TWICE in Toronto on the very same day. I'm not sure how they'll manage to time the performances, but pulling it off would only be maybe the sixth craziest thing they've accomplished this year (going viral off experimental microtonal guitar music is no small feat, no matter how striking their visual aesthetic is)
Seeing that they're still far from meeting their demand in Toronto, this RBC Amphitheatre show with Jack White will be the perfect opportunity to see them for anything less than a gazillion dollars this year. Expect many fans to buy just to see Angine de Poitrine as they continue their hot streak.

White's not generally known to rip off his fans. Tickets weren't priced outrageously for his last visits, and I expect prices to be even lower with such a massive venue.
He's also doing a solid for the kids. Mirroring a similar gesture he made back during his last visit, Jack White will be offering $30 tickets to students, available only at the RBC Amphitheatre box office on July 14.

Amassing a loyal fanbase from his time with The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, and The Dead Weather in addition to his solo career, Jack White is one of the most beloved and respected rock stars in the industry. He's well enough into his career where he'll never have to worry about an empty crowd, no matter where he plays.

Selling out 16,000+ seats is no small feat, especially for an artist folks are used to seeing in theatres (or in one of his past bands). Torontonians have been pumping the brakes with recent announcements like Muse and Empire of the Sun, both of which are selling a little worse than anticipated.

Jack White timed the announcement perfectly. He had just brought the house down with a surprise performance early Saturday afternoon at Coachella. The response has been universally positive, with fans now gearing up to buy his tickets just two days later.

All that remains are lawn tickets for $69.00. This presale was quite the frenzy, and we got to see how ticket inventory evolves in such a short time. If you've held off until now for tickets, lawn at that price is a solid price!
