Guns N' Roses - World Tour (2026)
Amid a sea of B-market stops (and 9 cities in Brazil), Guns N' Roses return to Toronto with a massive midweek gig at Rogers Stadium. Their first show here since 2023 at Rogers Centre, the rock giants are rolling into town next August touring behind a brand new album– uhm.. nope, no new album. Behind a special anniversa– err.. no anniversary either.. Behind... well the reason must be so exciting that we can't even understand it right now!

💡How I rate shows
- Various factors are considered, including community sentiment, time since last show, pricing, proximity to nearby dates, and more
- Each factor is given a positive or negative score. Positive scores swing in the direction of Buy, and negative scores swing towards Wait
- Factors sum up to one score, which becomes the FaceValue Verdict: Buy or Wait
The factors
Here's everything pushing this presale up or down the FaceValue scale.
Axl's voice souring the sentiment --
It's no secret that Axl's voice isn't as good as it used to be. Diehards have seen the writing on the wall, and even casuals are taking notice, with clips from recent tours making the rounds on social media. It's increasingly becoming a deal-breaker for more fans, who reckon it's better to end off with a great performance than pay exorbitantly for stadium prices.
Awful timing surrounded by conflicts --
GnR's Toronto stop couldn't have come at a more inconvenient time.
1) It's on a Wednesday. Boo.
2) Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age will be tearing up Rogers Stadium the night before.
3) Rush, which may currently be the hottest boomer ticket in the city, start their four night run at Scotia mere days later.
Heck, we can't rule out the potential crossover from Olivia Dean's conflicting show either! Those are just the shows announced so far. The point is, fans will be forced to choose between several other legacy-heavy gigs with more narratively compelling artists. With tickets as expensive as they are now, fewer will have the cash to dole out for multiple events.
Weak tour motive -
They're touring behind no new album, no special anniversary, just a couple of singles quietly tucked away in the announcement. They booked a tour because.. it's summer and they can? With no support announcement alongside the dates, GnR really are leaning on their name and status alone to sell out 50k seats.
Legacy pull is there, but fleeting +
Let's be clear, Guns N' Roses definitely have the ability to sell a respectable number of tickets off name alone. But demand for legacy acts will generally peak earlier in comeback runs. They have been touring nonstop for a decade now and no longer bear "must-see" status.
My recommendation is Big Wait. Unless you're looking for very specific seats, you stand to save a lot of money waiting on this. Expect tickets to sell at a discount close to showtime.
