This will be her first date in Toronto in over six years and her fourth show ever in the city. Since her last visit, she has released a mixtape and two albums, each more accessible than the last. Fans will have plenty to celebrate ***if*** she makes it to the show. And that's a pretty big if... ### I'm tired of broken promises... -- Twigs does have a dedicated fanbase, but her fans may be exhausted when it comes to her reliability. She's notoriously flakey, which may have an impact on interest. Earlier this year, she cancelled both her March dates at History, along with the bulk of her North American and European shows – citing visa issues. Twigs promised her fans that she would reschedule, but sadly **it took until another album rollout to rebook her shows**. Some dates got rescheduled into the summer, but Toronto felt especially burnt. Her shows were postponed with just days' notice, and the cancellation silently arrived months later. When the new dates did drop, Toronto was nowhere to be seen.. ### Double Album, Double Anticipation + Twigs had a busy year, dropping not just one but two albums within the *Eusexua* universe. She's riding the high of multiple rollouts, which may explain the confidence behind her venue choices. Coca-Cola Coliseum seats about 7,000, which is considerably larger than the sum of her prior bookings at History (5,000 total). Her popularity continues to grow, but she may have bitten off more than she could chew. Look at it this way. Addison Rae, who makes much more radio-friendly pop music, played the same venue two months ago and was unable to sell it out. Floor tickets dropped to under half of her original asking price by the time she took the stage. --- ### The verdict My recommendation is **Wait**. This is how the sale period played out. First, a look at face value prices when tickets first went on sale in December. 🎟️ Face value prices (fees included): ****GA**: $164.75 ****Floor**: $125.50 – $223.47 ****100s**: $80.25 - $164.75 ****Lower 100s**: $152.40 - $226.73 ****VIP**: $423.33 - $690.52 Platinum Pricing: Disabled ### Immediate sticker shock Fans were taken aback by prices when they first went on sale. GA was priced nearly double that of her ill-fated History shows, and seats were well into the hundreds. On Jan 29, seats in the 100s dropped to $68.50 - $140.75. On Feb 25, GA tickets appeared for the first time since presale dropped to $104.75 (a $60 drop). On Mar 19, seats in the 100s dropped again to $58.00 - $83.75. That's a massive drop in price and a brutal sting for fans that paid upwards of $226.73 for those same seats. ### VIP tickets converted to Standard Check out the VIP tickets available in the front rows of the floor.
