Luke Combs occupies nearly the same demographics as Chris Stapleton, though Combs has two dates at Rogers Stadium compared to Stapleton's one. We can see below the Ticketmaster maps showing the current inventory for both nights. Neither is sold out, though if it were contained to a single night, it wouldn't be out of the question for it to be sold out by now. On the front end, Stapleton is boxed in by [Guns N' Roses](https://facevalueto.ca/gnr-2026/) on the 5th, leaving only the 7th open before he sets up shop in Detroit. Given the production demands of a stadium show, I'd say it's unlikely for a second night to be added. ### An All-American Road Show? Now? - It's no secret that Canadian/American relations have been... burdensome, to say the least. It's an unfortunately timed and named tour for the two Canadian cities added to the itinerary. Many Canadians have proudly stopped buying American products, and while American entertainment hasn't seen the same level of boycott, there's something more *direct* about supporting a tour that wears its patriotism so visibly. Expect some fans to choose to spend money elsewhere. Speaking of... ### Back-to-back-to-back Stadium Shows -- The Civic Holiday week is loaded up with three consecutive nights featuring three different concerts: - **August 4**: [Foo Fighters with Queens of the Stone Age](https://facevalueto.ca/foo-fighters-take-cover-2026/) - **August 5**: [Guns N' Roses](https://facevalueto.ca/gnr-2026/) - **August 6**: Chris Stapleton That's a lot of white men with guitars feeding on Gen X/Boomer wallets. While Stapleton's audience doesn't crossover as neatly as the other three groups do, I still expect casual fans to be more selective. --- My recommendation is to **Wait**. There aren't enough factors pushing Chris Stapleton over the Rogers Stadium hurdle.
