There's a lot of information floating around, but I'll simplify it to what you need to know for Toronto: - To get access to the presale, you will need to purchase an annual **GLOBAL ARMY Membership** before 6PM on January 18th. - Do **not** buy the US or Japan ARMY Membership, you need the **GLOBAL** one - The membership costs 19.67 USD (\~$27.33 CAD) and must be registered under the **same email** used for your Ticketmaster account. - You can buy the membership [**here**](https://shop.weverse.io/en/shop/USD/artists/2/categories/18?subCategoryId=30&ref=facevalueto.ca). - In your application, you can select up to three cities to participate. Select Toronto. Positive scores swing in the direction of **Buy**, and negative scores swing towards **Wait** - Factors sum up to one score, which becomes the FaceValue Verdict: **Buy or Wait** --- ## The factors Here's everything pushing this presale up or down the FaceValue scale. ### It's BTS +++ This will be one of, if not the single biggest presale of the year. BTS is a group with gargantuan global popularity and demand, driven by their deeply passionate fanbase (called ARMY). The band has been away for the last few years in order to participate in mandatory military service. In that time, anticipation for their comeback hit fever pitch. To give a sense of the scale of demand, there were [recent rumors](https://www.hitsdailydouble.com/news/live/the-count-column-2026-01-09?ref=facevalueto.ca) that HYBE (the company managing BTS) was offering the entire tour to AEG Presents (the largest promoter in the world after Live Nation) in exchange for **50% interest in Coachella**. The deal fell through, and now Live Nation is responsible for the tour. A full tour sellout is practically a certainty. Casual fans will take interest. ARMY fans have had enough time to prepare that they've gotten jobs to financially support following the boys on as many dates. We *may* be looking at a tour that could go band-for-band with Swift's [Eras](https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/taylor-swift-eras-tour-highest-grossing-all-time-1-billion-1234921647/?ref=facevalueto.ca). ### They will be using a 360° stage layout The in-the-round setup will allow for increased capacity. This technically will make it *easier* to get tickets. But with how massive the demand is, it doesn't push the needle towards *Wait* in the slightest. The layout has yet to be seen at Rogers Stadium, so it will be interesting to see how many more seats they'll be able to accommodate and if other acts mirror the setup. Even factoring in the $27 paywall for presale access, don't expect tickets to be available post-presale nor for prices to fall. BTS in Toronto ended up being a **Big Buy**, with tickets staying completely sold up for the entire time leading up to the show. Here's how face value prices looked when tickets first went on sale in January. 🎟️ ****BTS — Rogers Stadium** Aug 22 + 23, 2026 Face value prices (fees included): ****Floor**: $318.13 – $1,215.60 ****Side Stands**: $143.13 – $845.40 ****North Stands**: $118.13 – $305.40 Both BTS shows in Toronto stayed completely sold out with resale prices staying well above face value for the entire time leading up to the concerts. Buying when tickets first went on sale was the best option for BTS in Toronto.
